In the course of the continuous growth of their company, they are looking for a Translator (German - English) for their office in Gibraltar.
Your Position
In your role as a Translator you will be working in a team that is responsible for the prompt translation of news, newsletters and articles which will be published on our client’s website. You will be working together closely with our client’s Community Managers to guarantee the adherence to deadlines and quality standards of the translations for various languages. Another part of your task is the coordination of outstanding translations with our team of freelance translators and the proof-reading of translations that have been handed to you.
Your Responsibilities
• Prompt translations from German into English
• Preparation of the translation tasks for other languages
• Coordination of the freelance translator team
• Proof-reading of English translations
• Positioning of texts in our client’s Content-Management-System
Your Profile
• Possession of a language degree or you spend a longer period of time in an English speaking country
• Job experience in a similar position
• Perfect German and/or English in word and speech (preferably both languages)
• Good organising and communication abilities
• Enjoyment of teamwork and open communication
• Distinct sense of responsibility and result orientation
• Ability to quickly understand new topics and being able to explain or illustrate complex context in written format
• Basic knowledge of HTML for the formatting of texts
