• To conceive and specify the structure of the software of the Gaming platform
• Deliver the enterprise connected view of how the technical platform delivers business goals.
• To assist development teams in critical phases of development overseeing the end to end architecture compatibility as per defined standards.
• To articulate how the platform delivers services and its deployed infrastructure.
• To assist in formulation of software architecture strategy
• To provide an oversight over technology and product selection
• To align strategic goals and objectives with decisions regarding products and services; partners and suppliers; capabilities; and key business and IT initiatives.

Technical Skills

• Previous extensive Objective oriented development experience - Java, J2EE, C# , .Net
• Experience of development using OSGI framework would be desirable. If this experience included use of WSO2 middleware, then that would be an additional benefit.
• Previous extensive experience working on a high volume (>100k hits per day) customer facing website
• Experience of designing and developing Service Oriented Architectures
• Experience providing architectural assessment or experience assisting in carrying out similar assessments.
• Previous extensive experience of being involved in the complete software development lifecycle
• Previous extensive experience in source control, unit testing, code verification, documentation, automated build, continuous integration, metrics, and code reviews
• Detailed knowledge of design and architecture patterns
• Experience of agile software development methodologies
• Understanding of architectural frameworks TOGAF, Zachmann etc
• Experience of creating coding standards and software code quality metrics
• Further Skills:
• Oracle Fusion Middleware Tools, primarily Oracle SOA Suite, including use of ESB and BPEL
• HTML / XHTML / CSS
• JavaScript & Ajax

o Application Server Installation and Configuration, for example

0 ServerWebLogic/Jetty/Tomcat/IIS
o Windows/Linux configuration
o Oracle SQL & PL/SQL; demonstrable experience of using 10G+ (including tuning SQL queries), 11G is desirable.
o A scripting language (Ruby, Perl, etc)
o Experience using Sparx Enterprise Architect or other similar software
o Experience in UML, Archimate or other modelling languages or Frameworks
