Overall Purpose of Job Role:
The Search Analyst will serve as a resource for our client’s Search Engine Marketing team providing reports, data, and analysis to the team and periodic reporting to company executives and partners. You will use their existing web analytics source and back end reporting functionality for a number of web properties in international markets. In addition to functional reporting, you will be crucial in valuing and investigating future opportunities in their areas of Organic Search, Paid Search, and Social Media in a wide variety of global markets.

Responsibilities, to include but not limited to:
• Periodic reporting functions to team members and executives
• Reporting for SEO, PPC, and Social Media efforts
• Data analysis
• Liaising with database owners and other data providers
• Market and competitive analysis related to SEM efforts
• New opportunity identification
• Expansion of current reporting functions
• Aggregation of several data sources
• Development of internal tools or incorporation of external tools where appropriate
Skills Required:
• Web analytics background is ideal
• Some understanding of SEO or paid search or keyword research
• Ability to analyze data and a love of numbers
• Curious, self-motivated, sceptical, and imaginative
• Ability to paint a picture with numbers
• Works well with team members or autonomously
• Landing page testing or A/B testing is a plus
• Aware of what is worthwhile
• Methodical
• Capable of spotting patterns
