Main purpose of the job
Working within the Project Management Office, the Project Management role is extremely varied, with individual Project Managers working closely with all aspects of the business (product development, account management, development teams and operations), on a number of projects throughout each release cycle.
Key Areas of Responsibilities and Tasks
• Ownership of the entire individual project life cycle from inception to deployment and post-deployment support;
• Providing initial validation of incoming development requests, distinguishing those requiring further information and facilitating this with customers;
• Upkeep of tasks and issues within a web-based project management tool;
• Reporting into the weekly program board on project progress, risks and issues;
• Creation and upkeep of project related documentation including project plans;
• Day to day communication with the internal development teams, account management and direct with clients where applicable;
• Where appropriate, technical account management for customer integration issues, and
• Assistance with the development of internal process methodologies.
Experience/Qualifications
• Strong and consistent record of academic achievement, e.g. good A-levels plus at least a 2i from a well-regarded university
• Formal Project Management certification (PRINCE2, Scrum Master)
• Recent hands-on Project Management experience
• Knowledge of or experience within an Online Gaming environment (preferable)
• Demonstrable strong PM experience in managing large scale projects (circa £1 million+), including large groups of stakeholders (15+)
