General
The Product Manager reports to the Managing Director and is responsible for commercial offering for our client. The Product Manager is responsible for placing orders and requests on behalf of our client. The order/requests shall be placed based on market research and knowledge with the objective to increase revenues and establish our client as the primary supplier for gaming software and the vendor of choice.
Job Responsibility;
To proactively ensure that our client develops market leading products enabling maximized revenue generation whilst carefully considering ROI.
The Product Manager shall;
• Have an in-depth understanding of the gaming industry
• Steer our client to develop products that are market leading, enabling maximum revenue generation whilst carefully considering ROI.
• Gather feedback from Account Managers, Sales Managers and Customers and communicate this to our client.
• Prioritize which products/games/features to be developed next, providing continuous input.
• Steer the Product Owners and be ultimately responsible for the business value delivered.
• Be visible, vocal and objective.
• Set realistic deadlines without requiring the Product Owners to reduce the quality of their work.
• Define clear priorities based on business value
• Understand and assess the risks before making judgments.
• Knowing roughly estimated cost of a product/game/feature before prioritizing.
• Pro-actively conduct regular analysis of performance of existing/new products and games.
• Produce monthly reports showing the performance of the products and games and feed this back to the Managing Director.
• Have the aggregate responsibility for our client’s commercial offering and product packaging.
• Have an in depth knowledge about the products and services that our client’s competitors are offering.
• Pro-actively and continuously monitor competitors and market development to seek and obtain and reed market analysis information
• Visit exhibitions and trade shows to identify industry trends by reviewing both land-based and online competitors.
• For each game / product, ensure that our client receives the appropriate approval from the Maltese Lotteries and Gaming Authorities
