Overall Purpose of Job Role:

The Player Modeller’s focus will be to support the Player Marketing Department by maximising the value of our in-house transactional data. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Modelling and is required to work effectively with key stakeholders in order to execute “best practice” modelling tasks.

This role requires tremendous attention to detail, setting up and managing projects and procedures. We are embarking on ambitious growth plans and it is imperative the Researcher is able to work within a dynamic, fast paced and leading-edge technological environment where consistent delivery of results is paramount to business success.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

• Engage with executives, staff, stakeholders and related personnel in the delivery of modelling projects in line with key business goals and objectives.
• Management of key modelling projects including the scoping of analysis plans, their execution & reporting to stakeholders.
• Provision of modelling services to the Player Marketing Department and other functions as required.
 

Skills / Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics/statistics related field, MSc plus a bonus.
• 3+ years of experience in a modelling/ analysis/statistics management role (statistical, artificial intelligence & operational research techniques).
• Experience of working with statistical analysis, data-mining software (SAS preferably).
• Project management skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
• Ability to create and manage procedures and processes.
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with a diverse group of internal and external personnel.
• Strong general internet experience.
• Likely sector experience to include internet, retail, telecommunication, financial services.
• Understanding of the online poker industry.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to work with other highly talented individuals.
• Fluency in the English language.
• Knowledge and love of the game of Poker a plus.
