Job Description
Overall Purpose of Job Role:
This person will have sole responsibility for a number of Paid Search accounts on various search engines and in worldwide markets. They will assist in the preparation of global budgets expansion of accounts and regions, work with external partners and search engines, and manage campaigns on a day to day basis. They will focus improving our client’s ROI, keywords, and reach while working in tandem with their SEO efforts. This is a key contributing role which is part the Search Engine Marketing Team. They will directly report to the head of the SEM Team.
Responsibilities, to include but not limited to:
• Run, improve, and optimize existing Pay Per Click (PPC) search campaigns and accounts with responsibility for a large global budget
• Open new accounts and expand into new regions globally
• Explore and pursue opportunities outside of the major search engines
• All ad copy, keywords, and bidding
• Managing translations for new markets for ads and keywords
• Fundamental keyword research
• Pursue all other potential PPC channels, YouTube, Facebook, smaller networks and engines
• A/B testing, ad testing, incorporation of seasonal, regional , promotional and TV tie-ins
• Initial reporting and campaign analysis
• Quality monitoring and competitive research
• Incorporation of API data into all reports
• Development of internal tools or incorporation of external tools where appropriate
• Coordination of efforts with our existing country managers and partners
• Developing budgets
Skills/ Experience Required:
• Deep PPC knowledge and background
• Passion about Paid Search
• Long experience running accounts with large budgets and keyword lists
• Experience with a variety of geographic regions and industries
• Strong in creative keyword research
• Landing page testing and optimization
• Able to develop ad copy in markets outside of English
• Preferable deeper in-house experience as opposed to agency background
• Ability to analyze campaigns, data, and a love of numbers
• Production of periodic campaign reports
• Curious, creative, and web savy
• Ability to direct projects
• Able to work with external vendors and partners
• Works well with team members or autonomously
