Your Position This role will entail the management, optimization and compilation of new and existing copy. As a specialist, you will be assigned tasks by various departments and will undertake independent responsibility for the implementation of the copy in cooperation with the person who has assigned the task and our web designers. Your daily responsibilities will include working with our content management system (CMS). Thanks to your well-formulated copy, all the members will be able to understand complex issues at a glance. You will also be skilled in the formulation of short, concise copy, e.g. for newsletters, and the interesting presentation of content. Furthermore you will be responsible for the coordination of our client’s freelance editors. Your publishing's will be read by more than 2 million community members which means that you will have direct influence on the level of satisfaction of our client’s customers. Your Responsibilities • Composition of news in the German and English language • Responsible for German and English content • On schedule composition of articles and newsletters • Self-contained research • Proof-reading texts of other editors • Coordination of the freelance editors • Implementation of created copy Your Profile • Perfect German and English language skills • Basic knowledge of HTML and image editing • Good knowledge of MS Office applications • Quick grasp of topics • Creative and exciting style of writing • Enjoyment of "story-telling" • Adherence to standards and layout guidelines • Working towards deadlines • Good organizational and communication abilities • Enjoy teamwork and open communication • Distinct sense of responsibility and results orientation • Affinity to (Online-)Poker • Ability to quickly understand new topics and being able to explain or illustrate complex context in written format Beneficial Attributes • Ability to work in a team • A degree within the fields of marketing, journalism or media, language or communication studies, or a comparable editorial qualification • Experience as Online Editor or similar • Experience with content management systems • Proficiency in MS Office (Word & Excel) • In-depth HTML and CSS skills Head Office in Gibraltar Gibraltar is a British territory located on a peninsula at the southern tip of Spain and embodies the ideal mix of Mediterranean attitude to life and British professionalism.
