Our client is a relative new-comer on the betting scene but its sudden exponential growth has resulted in it becoming one of the most respected and reputable companies in the industry. Set up in 2005 our client earned its reputation and distinguished itself from the competition through its excellent services such as its staggering variety of betting options and its incredibly popular and dynamic poker software
The Country Manager reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and will be responsible for the following activities:
• Developing the local network of marketing and media contacts
• Marketing and Brand Communication strategy
• Marketing activities
• Business proposals to potential partners and media
• Press activities
• Checking Customer communication
• Checking and helping with updates on the local site
• Market and competitor analysis
• Return On Investment reports
• Achieve Monthly objectives in acquisition and margin
You will ideally be based in-country and will be working closely with the Content Manager for your country based in London, who will assist you for marketing tasks and with whom you will be keeping a constant dialogue about the correspondence of the site contents and customer communication with your marketing needs. You will need to spend time in London at regular intervals, but should not be in excess of 5 days per month.
Skills
• Our client seeks a proactive person, who understands the pros and cons of a truly entrepreneurial setting/organisation, with at least 3 years of experience from marketing, PR and staff management, and an established network of contacts in his country.
• Flexibility and creativity, experience in crafting the right marketing wordings, are important skills as well as the capability to combine hands-on activities with a strategic perspective.
• Knowledge about the Internet, its possibilities involving technical knowledge of common Internet tools and technologies (in particular in relation to online advertising) and how to take advantage of these, is crucial.
• Real strong experience in media buying, especially online, is an absolute requirement. Knowledge of local affiliation platforms is a strong plus. Experience in producing creative briefs for advertising media (especially flash, gif banners and email ads) appreciated, as well as experience in working remotely. Some knowledge about the European gambling legal background, combined with knowledge about the local situation, is also a real plus.
• The candidate needs to be fluent in English (company language) and have perfect writing/spelling skills in the local language.
