Job Description
Overall Purpose of Role:
The candidate’s focus will be to review communications and ensure that all marketing email correspondence is accurate and error free. We are embarking on ambitious growth plans and it is imperative the candidate is able to work within a dynamic, fast paced and leading-edge technological environment where consistent delivery of results is paramount to business success.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
• To ensure marketing email correspondence is 100% correct and error-free prior to being sent
• Review communications across multiple languages for technical and grammatical correctness
• QA and test email across a range of email clients
• Ensure both html and plain text email versions are 100% defect free before release
• Liaise with web producers and marketing personnel to ensure promoted website content is correct and public pre-promotion
• Demonstrate leadership in the development of dynamic new systems for testing/QA of all marketing content –moving towards automation
Skills / Experience Required:
• Fluency in the English language and excellent literacy skills
• Solid understanding of marketing fundamentals
• Ability to balance conflicting demands and adhere to business priorities
• Be a good communicator, adept and capable of rapid turnaround/reprioritization
• Be relentless in the quality control of public-facing graphical, textual and technical content across any web client and customer communications
• Ability to work to shared deadlines
• Ability to work well with other highly talented individuals
• Extreme attention to detail and enthusiasm
• Experience with HTML and/or PHP
The following, while not essential, are highly desirable
• Fluency in other European languages
• Web development experience
• Test Automation experience
• Genuine interest in Poker
