The successful candidate is expected to leverage their own network to generate new channels in order to sign up new referral partners. ‘New business’ is the primary focus of this role thus requiring highly motivated individuals, with extensive proven networks, who will continue to deliver on agreed targets.

Primary Responsibilities:

• With a specific focus on the web community (e.g. web developers, shopping carts, platforms); promotion of the brand within this community. Event attendance, speaking etc.
• Research, identification, engagement, recruitment and development of these organisations as referral partners including negotiation of terms and conclusion of contracts within the agreed frameworks.
• Retention and development of referral partner relationships – driving increased lead generation. The successful candidate will own these.
• Delivering results to target – reporting on KPIs.
• Establishment of a close, direct and personal relationship to key people in the partners’ organization.

Experience and Skills:

• Whilst it is mandatory for the successful candidate to have an existing network in the web community, experience in the payments industry is not a pre-requisite but it would be a significant advantage.
• Must be able to demonstrate experience in successfully selling technical web products in a target driven environment.
• A good understanding of web technologies.
• Self driven, confident, disciplined and highly motivated individual.
• Experience of delivery and creation of channel strategy is not essential but a benefit.
• The candidate should feel confident presenting at events and groups, along with social media, forums and editorials
