Our client is looking for someone who is smart, enthusiastic and technical, with a passion for data and the know-how to present key findings with clarity and intelligence to decision makers especially if you are an experienced BI analyst preferably with some background in online payments.

The Role

• Provide analytical and decision support to key decision makers including the Director of Payments, helping them to make sharper strategic and tactical decisions
• Develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators, projections and performance analyses and findings
• Be an expert that provides business insight through various analytical methods
• Make recommendations about business initiatives based on in-depth analysis of customer and business drivers
• Provision of weekly and monthly reports to drive payments and fraud strategy
• Provide on-going data analysis necessary for decision-making in payment processing initiatives
• Evaluation and assessment of new market opportunities
• Develop predictive models that accurately predict key customer life cycle events
• Develop segmentation schemes that effectively expose customer behaviour

Required

• 2+ years’ experience as a BI Analyst
• Proficient user of SQL; Excel and statistics knowledge a must
• Experience with extracting data from databases, ideally in an enterprise data warehouse and reporting platform
• Knowledge of online payments and/ or fraud prevention techniques a big asset
• Strong data manipulation, analysis and creation of reports
• Demonstrated abilities in regards to compiling and analysing detailed business metrics and presentation skills
• Experience in developing simple, understandable reports and useful visualizations
• An interest in Sports, Poker or Casinos is an asset
