Job Description
Overall Purpose of Job Role:
Working in Product Development, the Business Analyst is a key role in bringing gaming and back office features to the production gaming platform. Primary responsibilities will be working with stakeholders to translate product vision and strategy into functional designs for delivery by IT.
Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:
• Work with stakeholders to identify and analyse product and application requirements
• Define and document end-user business requirements based on input from users and stakeholders
• Document product requirements in a clear, concise and detailed manner
• Perform detailed system analysis and or process analysis
• Interact with Development teams to communicate requirements and as part of the team ensure the design specifications meet functional requirements
• Liaise with QA team to ensure test plans adequately captures feature requirement specifications
• Provide ongoing support to Project Managers and IT during the development process
• Demonstrate leadership by coordinating the requirements gathering and functional specifications for small to large projects
Skills/ Experience Required - The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following skills and experience
• 5+ years in a business analyst, consulting or program/product management role
• 3+ years in an IT environment (development or testing) an advantage
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Proactive with "can-do" attitude
• Experience in online gaming sector (preferably online poker) is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills including documentation skills and presentation experience
• Strong customer focus
• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, interviewing, and fact-finding skills
• Ability to lead by coordinating the requirements, specifications, design, and testing efforts
• Third level degree in relevant business or IT discipline
• Experience of customer services, payments, security or fraud detection would be an advantage
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• In depth understanding and experience of the software development process and overall project life cycle
The following, while not essential, are highly desirable:
• Possess some knowledge of online poker, poker games, affiliate program, or online fraud
• Some project management experience
• Degree in Business or Technology required (Working with IT consulting company is very relevant)
• Understand report development environment.
