Barely a year after opening its virtual doors, the Gaming VC operated and Malta-licensed Slots Club.com is to bow out at the end of January.

This week the Net Entertainment-powered online casino announced its intention to close, advising customers to remove funds from their accounts before closing day on January 31st, and thanking them for their loyalty since its launch in February last (2009) year.

The closure came as a surprise, following a site revamp that took place as recently as July 2009.
