Did Alien Sat Nav Send Them To Wrong Universe?

William Hill have, at least temporarily, been saved a multi million pound payout after the eagerly anticipated October 14th UFO arrival failed to materialise.

Hills still have a large number of bets from Alien enthusiasts, including Lawrence Tout, who sparked the gamble with a £1,000 bet at 1000/1. Hills are hoping that Australian 'channeler' Blossom Goodchild did not just get her dates wrong.

Hills have decided to reopen their Alien betting but are now 50/1 that 'the current existence of intelligent extra terrestrial life will be confirmed by the serving British PM' within six calendar months of placing the bet "Having offered 1000/1 to people like Lawrence and Blossom's family, we still have seven figure liabilities and have now slashed the odds to 50/1 that intelligent Extra Terrestrial life exists and with the increase in sightings so far this year we could get shorter still," said Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.
