Sky Bet have produced a vast range of Formula One betting markets ahead of this weekend’s season-opening Grand Prix in Bahrain.

This season sees a host of new faces as well as the return of some older ones and Sky Bet go 4/9 that the 2010 Drivers’ Championship is claimed by one of the four former winners and 13/8 that a new champion is crowned.

Seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher returns to the sport this season following a three-year absence and Sky Bet make him a 2/9 chance to win at least one race, 5/1 to win most races and 7/1 to record most pole positions. He is 5/1 to be crowned world champion for the eighth time.

F1's two most recent champions Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton are gearing up for their first GP as team-mates and Sky Bet make McLaren 9/4 second favourites behind Ferrari (7/4) to take the Constructors’ title. The season-opener in Bahrain will provide an insight into whether Button is set to mount a challenge against Hamilton, who is 1/3 favourite to collect more points this season (Button 9/4).

Tricast betting on the Drivers’ Championship is also available and Sky Bet go 50/1 for a Hamilton, Button, Alonso 1-2-3 this season. Sky Bet expect Ferrari duo Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa both to finish the season in the top three of the standings and make a Hamilton, Alonso, Massa top trio favourite at 28/1.
