Virtual Election Betting?

Around £30 million was bet on the result of the UK General Election. Surely the next logical step would be for betting shops to have "virtual elections". Would it be too challenging to imagine robotically animated politician muttering platitudes about "change" and "economy"? As they say in the bookies, "there's nothing virtual about a winner"!
