Fresh from a recent marauding trip Vegas, Tom organised the inaugural Hyperion Poker Night.

The stakes were reasonably modest as much of the budget went on Hula Hoops, scotch eggs, and rather marvellous mini Cornish pasties.

Seven of team Hyperion settled down to a lager fuelled night of cards action. However rather inevitably there were no surprises, and Hyperion's resident gambling blogger Mr James Faux ran out a comfortable winner, rather frighteningly not even stepping up into top gear! Special mention must go to young-gun Ryan Burgess who almost managed the biggest come back since Lazarus (copyright Mr S.Waddell) and played a meticulous game to finish in the money.

At Hyperion HQ we are all fans of Lady Gaga, not as such for her music.  We all have rather diverse music tastes, including one of our mob who on a recent client trip to Guernsey was spotted buying Journey's greatest hits at the duty free HMV. Nor are we fans of Ms Gaga for her electric and rather unique fashion sense.

The reason why we do rate her...she is clearly the #1 Twitter Don, recently garnering more followers than Brittney Spears, and pushing Ashton Kutcher into third place.

At last look Hyperion's Twitter feed had 1358 iGaming faces checking the word, sadly rather eclipsed by the Poker Face herself on 1.5million...
