Andy Carroll has been backed from 8/11 to 4/6 with William Hill to play some part in England's friendly against France next week. 'Although it would be a controversial selection, punters are betting that Fabio Capello will not only call Carroll into the England squad, but will also give him some time on the pitch' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
Hills offer 11/10 that Carroll will play no part in the France game.
