Bookmakers William Hill have cut their odds that the London Fire Brigade strike scheduled for November 5/6 will go ahead, from 1/ 3 to 1/4, and now offer 11/4 that it will be officially called off. 'There is no betting support for the strike to be called off and the odds about it taking place have been shortening as little progress seems to have been made in discussions between the two sides involved' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
