Tony Mowbray is now 1/4 (from 1/2) with Ladbrokes to be the next Middlesbrough manager following the interviews which have taken place this week.
Paul Ince can be backed at 4/1 with Gary Megson a 7/1 shot. Former Hull manager Phil Brown has been steadily supported today, opening up at 16/1 and now trading at 4/1.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “We are still reeling from the Rooney gamble last week so we have to be on our toes now with these type of football markets. The money is down for Mowbray but as we well know nothing is certain until the contract is signed”
