It’s now an 8/11 shot (from even money) that the Premier League quartet of Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs all safely qualify to the knockout stages of the Champions League.
bet365 spokesman Steve Freeth “It’s looking good for the English boys despite Man Utd and Spurs dropping points on Tuesday and we’ve been forced to trim our original even money quote.”
Results may have gone bet365’s way in the Champions League on Tuesday night, but that was far from the case on Wednesday.
“Punters suffered a bloody nose on Tuesday, but they fought back in style and ended Matchday One in front after we suffered losses of over £1m on Wednesday” added Freeth.
