William Hill say the heavyweight showdown between David Haye and Audley Harrison could produce a record £5million betting turnover for a domestic fight.
'World title fights between high profile British boxers are few and far between - and we haven't had a fight of this stature since Lennox Lewis beat Frank Bruno, attracting a £1m+ betting turnover' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe, 'This scrap between the two best known boxers in Britain will dwarf that one in betting terms and we anticipate at least £5m will be bet on the outcome.'
WILLIAM HILL MAKE DAVID HAYE OVERWHELMING 1/10 FAVOURITE TO BEAT 11/2 OUTSIDER AUDLEY HARRISON, WITH THE DRAW QUOTED AT 33/1 - HILLS MAKE HAYE 1/3 TO KNOCK AUDLEY OUT, WITH THE OLYMPIC CHAMP 7/1 TO DO VICE VERSA.
Haye is 7/2 to win on points with Hills who make Harrison 14/1 to win by the same method.
