Justin Rose is the best backed golfer with Ladbrokes on the eve of The Open Championship at St Andrews.
The Englishman has been trimmed to 20/1 for the Claret Jug (from 25s) as patriotic punters clamoured to back the in-form star.
David Williams of Ladbrokes said: "A blooming Rose would be a blooming nightmare for us. He's massively popular and he's replaced Tiger as the player causing us the most headaches."
Ladbrokes report Tiger Woods to be a loser in the outright book and laid another £10,000 single at odds of 6/1 that the troubled star will triumph this weekend.
"We've been Tiger hunting plenty of times before most notably with our 10/1 for the US Open earlier this year. We don't need to do it again as his army of fans have already ensured that he's a loser in our book and the big bets continue to roll in" added Williams.
