McLaren drivers Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button may have set the bar in the first two practice sessions ahead of this weekend’s Turkish Grand Prix, but Sky Bet still make Red Bull firm favourites to win in Istanbul. Red Bull have dominated so far this season, having started all six races on pole and are 4/9 to win at Istanbul Park, while McLaren are next best at 11/4.

Sky Bet’s Formula One betting spokesman Dave Pilgrim said: "McLaren have drawn first blood in Turkey with their pace-setting performances on Friday, but they aren’t fooling anyone and Red Bull remain the hot favourites to win the Istanbul battle and are confidently expected to be at the front-end when the times actually begin to count."

Red Bull’s Mark Webber, who leads the Drivers’ Championship standings after winning the last two races in Spain and Monaco from lights to flag, is 9/4 for a third successive victory, while team-mate Sebastian Vettel heads the betting at 13/8.

Ferrari's Felipe Massa, who has won three of the five Formula 1 races held in Turkey, was one of several drivers to have problems at the notoriously difficult triple-apex Turn Eight and has been lengthened to 16/1 (from 12/1) to take the chequered flag on Sunday.
