Sky Bet report that former Catania coach Sinisa Mihajlovic is coming in for support today to land two top managerial jobs in Italy’s Serie A.

As a result of Jose Mourinho’s imminent move to Real Madrid and Cesare Prandelli’s likely appointment as Italy coach, the hot seats at Inter and Fiorentina are soon to be vacated and according to the betting, the in-demand Serb is in pole position to fill both roles.

The former Inter player and assistant manager stepped down as Catania boss on Monday amid reports linking him with Inter Milan, where he is even money favourite to be appointed manager.

However, he has also been very well supported today to take over from Fiorentina boss Cesare Prandelli, who is set to take the next step in his coaching career with the Italian national team. Sky Bet now make Mihajlovic an 8/11 shot to fill the breech at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

Sky Bet’s Helen Jacob said: “Mihajlovic is in an enviable position, having seemingly been offered the job at Fiorentina while waiting on Inter to show their hand. The punters are as yet undecided as to which way he’ll go and both clubs are being backed to secure his services.”

England boss Fabio Capello has distanced himself from rumours that he is being lined up to succeed Jose Mourinho as Inter Milan manager and Sky Bet make him a 12/1 chance to take over the newly crowned European champions.
