Euro 2008 Champions Spain have been cut to 15/2 by Paddy Power to win the 2010 World Cup.

Significant bets included £1000 at 40/1 for a Spain To Win Euro 2008 and David Villa Topscorer Double as well as a £7000 wager at 11/2 for Spain to win Euro 2008.

Paddy Power, said: "Punters were perplexed that a team as exciting and beautiful to watch as Spain could be the same 10/1 price for South Africa as England and were quick to take advantage."

Brazil remain the favourites at 9/2 with another successful team at the Euros, Guss Hiddink's Russia cut from 50/1 to 28/1.
