Money is flooding in on Floyd Mayweather Jnr to maintain his undefeated record in Las Vegas on Saturday by beating WBA welterweight champion Shane Mosley on points. Sky Bet have been forced to cut the odds of ‘Money’ recording a points victory from opening odds of 7/4 to 1/2. It’s 12/1 that Mayweather wins by a clean knockout.

Underdog Mosley has been friendless in the betting at 3/1 to inflict a first defeat on Mayweather (1/4, draw 33/1) at the MGM Grand.

Sky Bet’s boxing betting expert Scott Springgay said: “Normally when a fight goes to points it’s a good result for us but not this time as everyone has backed Mayweather to win on points, so we’re cheering on either a knockout victory for Mayweather or Mosley to cause an upset.”

Mayweather was set to fight Filipino superstar Manny Pacquiao before a blood-testing row halted negotiations and Sky Bet make him 5/6 narrow favourite to beat Pac-Man (even money) should the superfight go ahead this year.
