Sergio Aguero’s odds of signing for Chelsea this summer are 6/4 with Sky Bet following the Argentine forward’s admission that he would welcome the opportunity of joining the Blues.

Atlético Madrid paid more than £17.5 m for Aguero four years ago but he now looks set to quit the club and is also said to be a target for Inter Milan, who are 8/1 to secure his services.

Sky Bet’s football betting spokeswoman Helen Jacob said: “Abramovich is set to open the purse strings for Ancelotti this summer and Aguero is definitely the type of player Chelsea need.”

In other transfer news, Sol Campbell is keen to extend his stay with Arsenal after returning to the Emirates on a short-term contract in January. Sky Bet make him 4/7 still to be with the club after the summer.
