Rafa Benitez’s odds of becoming manager of Juventus next season are 6/4 with Sky Bet amid reports that the Serie A club have given him 10 days to rule himself in or out of the running.
Liverpool’s under-fire boss is Juventus’ number one choice to replace Alberto Zaccheroni but they may face stiff competition from Real Madrid, who are also targeting his signature. Sky Bet make Benitez 7/2 to manage the Spanish giants next season.
With 2010/11 Champions League football now a remote possibility for Liverpool, Benitez is a 2/1 chance to remain in the Anfield hot-seat.
Sky Bet’s football betting spokesman Dale Tempest said: “No matter what Rafa says, the speculation just won’t go away. However, after this year’s disappointments many Liverpool fans may wish the rumours are true.”
Fernando Torres could be back in action for Liverpool as early as next week following a positive visit to his knee specialist. Sky Bet make Torres 4/6 to start against his former club Atlético Madrid in next Thursday’s Europa League semi-finals.
