Paddy Power have today launched a World Cup marketing initiative which sees the leading betting provider manufacture and distribute World Cup themed ladies toys in the run up to the World Cup Finals.

With the news that England manager Fabio Capello has effectively banned the English WAGS from attending the World Cup Finals generous Paddy plans to send each of the football players wives and girlfriends their very own toy along with making a limited quantity available to the public on a first come first served basis.

The limited edition “toy”, which was inspired by the iconic football trophy, took six months to design and was produced by the world’s leading manufacturer of ladies’ toys.

Sharon McHugh, head of Paddy Power new product development, said, “There are certain to be tens of thousands of World Cup widows this summer and we believe that with a helping hand from Paddy they too will enjoy the buzz of the World Cup!”
