Punters are firmly behind Sweden ahead of their crunch clash with Russia at Euro 2008, Ladbrokes said yesterday.

Lars Lagerback's men are 8/5 to triumph in 90 minutes in the winner takes all clash and 8/15 to qualify alongside group winners Spain.

Their opponents, who may yet rue their 4-1 defeat against the Spanish, are 11/8 for victory.

Ladbrokes spokesman Robin Hutchison said: "So many favourites have won in the group games so far that the punters are latching onto Sweden in their droves."

Michael Ballack is 7/1 to score another free-kick against Portugal in the quarter finals after his second-half screamer saw off hosts Austria.

His team and their opponents, who have each defeated England on penalties at European Championships, are both price at 9/1 to win the game on penalties.

Ladbrokes will refund all losing first and last goalscorer bets on Spain's game against Greece if Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas scores the last goal of the game.
