Sven-goran

Following Sven-Goran Eriksson’s resignation as director of football at Notts County, Sky Bet are offering odds on where Eriksson will return to football management.

The Swede stepped down from his post at Notts County following the club’s latest takeover by former Lincoln City chairman Ray Trew and Sky Bet make him 4/6 to return to international management this season. During his time at the League Two club Eriksson was linked with coaching jobs with Sweden, North Korea and most recently Nigeria.

7/1 is on offer for Sven to assume a management role in the Barclays Premier League this season and he is 20/1 to manage a Championship side.

Last summer the Magpies were taken over by Middle Eastern consortium Munto who promised Premier League football within five years but Sky Bet now make the club a 100/1 chance to achieve this ambition.
Sky Bet's football betting spokesman Andy Clarke said: "Eriksson has plenty of international experience so he's sure to be in demand ahead of the World Cup, but there's always a possibility he could be tempted back into club management.
“County are now left with unpaid tax bills and no money in the pot, so the Premier League is a more distant dream than ever."
Sven Goran Eriksson's club at end of 2009/2010 season?
National Team Boss 4/6 Spanish Club 28/1
Premier League 7/1 Italian Club 28/1
Any Other League 7/1 French Club 33/1
Championship 20/1 League One 40/1
German Club 25/1
Note: All bets lose if Sven is not employed in a permanent role at a club in any of the leagues quoted at end 2009/10 season
