Arsenal

Arsenal’s odds of winning the Premier League have been halved to 8/1 after they reignited their title hopes with a win over Liverpool, while league leaders Chelsea (5/6 from 8/13) suffered a reverse at Everton and holders Manchester United (5/4 from 11/8) were held to a draw by Aston Villa. Liverpool have been lengthened to 125/1 (from 80/1) in the Premier League betting.

Arsenal’s odds of ending their four-year trophy drought this season have been trimmed to 5/1 (from 13/2).

Sky Bet’s football betting spokesman Dale Tempest said: “Looking at the remaining fixtures, Arsenal have by far the easiest run-in so perhaps with a bit of luck they could catch the leaders.”

Both Cesc Fabregas and Barcelona have dismissed rumours that a deal is already in place to bring the Arsenal captain back to the Nou Camp. Sky Bet make Fabregas’ odds of completing a summer move back to Spain a 7/4 chance.
