Tuesday sees the seventh day of play in the PDC Championship League of Darts and Sky Bet have installed Terry Jenkins as 11/4 favourite to win Group 7 and 4/5 to qualify through to the finals.
After missing out on Group 6, Adrian Lewis is 3/1 to win Group 7 and 10/11 to qualify for the final group.
Eight top players take to the oche, including two competition debutants Co Stompe (7/1) and Tony Eccles (12/1). The pair meet in their opening match and Sky Bet make Stompe 4/7 to prevail (Eccles 5/4).
Sky Bet darts betting spokesman Craig Ibbotson said: “Jenkins and Lewis look to be the players to beat over the next two days, and both of them are very used to the competition by now. However, they have both found one better player on each day so far. Will that be the case again?”
The best of 11 legs, round robin format, which is streamed exclusively on the internet, is proving popular with Sky Bet customers, who can watch the matches at www.skybet.com
The Harrogate firm are offering a plethora of bets, including in-running markets on each of the games. They also offer 6/1 for a nine-darter to be hit during Tuesday’s action.
With only two further qualifying days play remaining, the pressure to be one of the elusive qualifiers is gaining. Sky Bet make the unstoppable Phil Taylor, who won a third successive tournament with victory in the John McEvoy Gold Dart Classic in Killarney on Sunday, 1/2 favourite to retain the Championship League title.
