Sky Bet make Chelsea their 2/5 favourites to be topping the Premier League table after the first ten games. The divisional pacesetters head the table with 21 points after playing eight matches and face Aston Villa and Blackburn over the next fortnight.

Manchester United, have been lengthened to 4/1 from 11/8 to be top after ten following their 2-2 draw with Sunderland which preceded the international break. They face ‘big four’ opposition in Liverpool on October 25th.

Manchester City, who have a game in hand, can be backed at 15/2 to be at the summit after ten games and free-scoring Arsenal, who also have a game in hand are 10/1 to shoot up the table.

Sky Bet’s football betting spokeswoman, Helen Jacob, said: “Chelsea look guaranteed to take at least four points from their next two matches but Villa have a great record against the Londoners at Villa Park, having only suffered one defeat in 10 home league matches.

“Manchester City could be a value bet at 15/2 as their next three games against Wigan, Fulham and Birmingham look very winnable.”
