Carl Froch takes on Andre Dirrell in the standout fight of the Super Six World Boxing Classic this weekend. The Brit is fighting in his home town of Nottingham and is Sky Bet’s 1/2 favourite to defeat the up-and-coming American (6/4).

Froch comes off the back of an astonishing win over another American boxer and Super Six rival Jermain Taylor. In that fight, ‘The Cobra’ was behind on points going into the final round but pulled off an amazing knockout victory with only 14 seconds remaining. Froch is 15/8 with Sky Bet to defeat the unbeaten American hotshot at any time in rounds 1-12.

The Super Six tournament features the six best super middleweight fighters in the world. Froch is Sky Bet’s 5/2 second favourite to win it behind fellow super middleweight world titlist Mikkel Kessler (9/4). Olympic medallist Dirrell is a 9/1 outsider.

The Super Six pits three Europeans (Kessler, Froch, and Abraham) against three Americans (Taylor, Ward, and Dirrell) and Sky Bet make a European winner favourite at 1/7. 4/1 is available for one of the Americans to take the title.
