Italy’s Tourism Minister Michela Brambilla will present a bill to authorize the opening of new casinos, Il Sole 24 Ore reported, without saying where it got the information.
The legislation, due to be passed at a Cabinet meeting tomorrow, will allow five-star hotels to open public rooms for gambling in their buildings, Sole reported. The bill aims to make Italy’s luxury hotels more competitive, the newspaper said.
