Following the news that Sol Campbell has walked out on Notts County after just one game, Sky Bet are offering 5/1 for the former England international to head back to White Hart Lane.
Campbell, who signed a five year deal at County less than a month ago, is 3/1 to leave Notts County and head to St James’ Park to join up with Championship side Newcastle United. It’s 8/1 that the former England international joins Burnley, 8/1 Sunderland, 8/1 Fulham and 8/1 that he moves abroad to join a Spanish club.
Sky Bet’s Tim Reynolds said: “Many questions were asked as to why Sol Campbell joined up with Notts County in the first place but nobody expected his time with the club to end so abruptly. Tottenham do need a central defender and maybe Sol would be the short term solution.”
