Hanin

Former world number one Justine Henin is reportedly poised to make her comeback and tennis betting specialists Sky Bet are offering odds on how the Belgian tennis star will perform in 2010.

Henin, who has won seven Grand Slams to date, is a 6/5 chance to win a slam next year and 11/2 to win the first major of the year, the Australian Open. She is quoted at 5/2 to win the French Open for the fifth time, 9/2 to win her third US Open in 2010 and 9/2 to win Wimbledon, the only Grand Slam title that has eluded her.

Sky Bet have also cut the odds of Henin and compatriot Kim Clijsters meeting in a 2010 Grand Slam final to 5/1 (from 6/1).

Sky Bet’s tennis betting spokesman Chris Kennedy said: “Henin looks to have been inspired by Clijsters' remarkable US Open victory just a couple of weeks ago and it will be fascinating to see if she can compete with the very best straight away in 2010.”
