Wood

After claiming his 71st PGA Tour title with an eight-shot win at the BMW Championship earlier this month, Tiger Woods is 8/1 with Sky Bet to win by eight or more strokes when he returns to action this week in Atlanta for the Tour Championship.

The world number one is 11/10 to win the event (4/6 not to win), where he romped to an eight-stroke victory last time he played in 2007. 3/1 is on offer for Tiger to win by fewer than four shots and he is 9/2 to win by between four and seven strokes.

Sky Bet’s golf betting spokesman Andy Thorp said: “Tiger is obviously the man to beat. In his last six events, he has won three tournaments and finished second twice so it will be no surprise if by Thursday afternoon he is the worst result in our book, despite the short price.“

Sky Bet Odds: Tour Championship Woods Winning Margin
To Win by 0-3 Shots 3/1
To Win by 4-7 Shots 9/2
To Win by 8 or More Shots 8/1
Not To Win 4/6
