The excitement of European football betting continues tomorrow when Liverpool and Arsenal both take to the Champions League stage and Sky Bet are offering 4/5 for both teams to win their opening games. Liverpool host little known Hungarian side Debrecen at Anfield and are 1/8 to get their European campaign off with a win (16/1 Debrecen & 11/2 Draw). It’s 11/10 for Rafa Benitez’s side to score the most goals from the sixteen teams playing tomorrow and 4/1 that any Liverpool player is crowned the Champions League top goalscorer this season.

After today’s news that Uefa has overturned its decision to ban Arsenal striker Eduardo for two games, Sky Bet are offering 14/1 for the Croatia international to be booked for diving when Arsenal travel to Belgium to take on Standard Liege. Arsenal, who are coming off the back of two defeats in the Barclays Premier League are 8/15 to overcome Standard Liege (5/1 Standard Liege & 13/5 Draw) in their first group match and it’s 5/1 for either Fabregas or Denilson to score the first goal.

The tie of the first round of games from the group stages sees Inter Milan host the defending champions Barcelona. The most interesting exchange between the sides came in the close season when Samuel Eto’o moved to join Inter Milan with Imbrahimovic going in the opposite direction. Both strikers have already found the net for their new clubs in their respective leagues and it’s 13/2 for both players to score tomorrow. It’s 3/1 for the former Barcelona striker Eto’o to outscore Ibrahimovic at the San Siro (8/13 Tie and 100/30 Ibrahimovic) and 12/5 for either player to score the first goal of the match.

Sky Bet are also offering a stage of elimination market for both Liverpool and Arsenal and it’s 12/1 for Liverpool to repeat their feat of the 2004/05 season and be crowned champions of Europe. It’s 10/1 that Liverpool finish as runners up and 4/1 that they don’t get past the group stages.

Arsenal, who reached the final of the Champions League in the 2005/06 season before they were beaten by Barcelona are 9/1 to lift their first Champions League title this season and 8/1 to once again finish as runners up. It’s 11/4 that Arsenal’s European run comes to and end at the semi finals, 3/1 the quarter finals, 2/1 the last 16 and it’s 11/2 that they don’t progress through the group stages.
