Sky Bet have kept Chelsea’s odds unchanged for all current tournaments following news of the transfer ban to be imposed on the Blues. Carlo Ancelotti’s side remain 6/5 favourites to win the Premier League this season and are 5/2 to win it in 2010/11.
Sky Bet’s Mike Triffitt said: “We don’t feel it will have a detrimental effect on their chances this season as they have a strong, existing squad and haven’t felt the need to splash the cash in the last transfer window. What’s more, there is a strong chance the ban will be reduced or overturned.”
Sky Bet make it an 4/11 chance that the ban is reduced or overturned altogether and 2/1 that it remains in force until January 2011.
