5/2 Federer v Murray US Open Final

Sky Bet have unveiled a vast array of US Open betting markets ahead of the start of the tournament on Monday, including odds on who will contest the men’s final and make a repeat of last year’s showdown between Roger Federer and Andy Murray a 5/2 chance.

Federer is 6/5 to retain his US Open title, with Andy Murray Sky Bet’s 11/4 second favourite. 40/1 is on offer for the British number one to win without dropping a set and he is 7/2 once again to come runner-up.

Sky Bet are offering exclusive odds on all 32 seeds to make the quarter-finals, with Murray a 1/5 chance to make the final eight and 100/30 not to.

Sky Bet’s tennis betting expert, Chris Kennedy, said: “Federer looks a rock-solid favourite as he chases his sixth consecutive US Open title on the back of his impressive title win in Cincinnati last week. Murray has always gone well in New York but his draw looks tricky, with possible matches against Del Potro and Nadal to reach the final and he doesn’t look any value at 11/4.”
