Carlo Ancelotti picked up his first piece of silverware as Chelsea manager last Sunday in the Community Shield and Sky Bet are offering odds on which major title the Stamford Bridge outfit will win first in 2009/10. The Premier League is 11/4 favourite to be the first title Chelsea claim, followed by the Carling Cup (5/1), FA Cup (15/2) and Champions League (10/1).

8/11 is on offer for Chelsea to win a major title this season (evens not to win major title).

Money continues to flood in on Chelsea for Premier League glory and they are now Sky Bet’s clear 15/8 favourites to win their first league title since 2006. On the handicap market, they have been cut to 12/1 (from 15/1) with a two-point start and Sky Bet have also cut them to 1/5 (from 2/9) to win their season opener against Hull (16/1, draw 5/1), following relentless support.

Chelsea have also been the most popular pick at 9/4 to be topping the table ten matches in and are available at 5/2 with Sky Bet to go unbeaten in their first ten games.

Hitmen Nicolas Anelka and Didier Drogba are also all the rage at 15/1 with a 10 goal start to be the top flight’s most prolific goalscoring partnership.

Sky Bet’s Dale Tempest said: “Everyone wanted to be with Chelsea last season after Scolari’s great start and it seems that punters once again believe that Chelsea are the team to beat.”
