IPSWICH KEANE ON PROMOTION
IPSWICH Town are 4/1 to be promoted from the Championship next season, after unveiling Roy Keane as their new manager yesterday (Thurs).
And the former Sunderland boss is 16/1 to guide his new side to the title. Keane, who was in charge at the Stadium of Light from 28 August 2006- 4 December 2008, is 8/11 to remain in the Portman Road hot seat for longer.
The Tractor Boys are 7/1 to be relegated.
Ladbrokes spokesman, Nick Weinberg, said: “Keane proved during the early days at Sunderland that he’s capable of turning around a club’s fortunes. Next term promises to be one of optimism rather than pessimism for fans of the Suffolk side.”
Carlos Tevez is 1/ 2 not to be a Manchester United player at the start of next season.
