Murray 15/2 To Win Four Or More Masters Titles In 2009
Sky Bet have slashed Andy Murray’s odds of claiming four or more Masters 1000 titles this year to 15/2 (from 25/1) after victory in the ‘fifth major’ in Miami earned the British number one his third win this season.
Murray heads into the clay-court season buoyed by a great run of form on US hard courts and looks set to overtake Novak Djokovic in the ATP rankings. Murray is 7/1 with Sky Bet to finish 2009 at the top of the rankings, with Rafa Nadal short-priced favourite at 1/5 to retain the top spot. Sky Bet make Murray a 5/6 chance to finish higher than Roger Federer.
Next week Murray heads to Monte Carlo and Sky Bet offer 10/1 for him to win his next Masters title there. It’s20/1 that Murray’s next Masters win is at the Internazionali BNL d'Italia, which gets underway in Rome at the end of the month. 5/2 is offered for the Brit not to win another Masters 1000 title this year.
