Lewis  Hamilton has been pushed out to 6/1, from 5/1, to retain his F1 title after being stripped of his third place finish at the Australian Grand Prix.

The reigning world champion was previously promoted to third by race stewards at the expense of Toyota’s Jarno Trulli.

And the Italian -reinstated to third place- has been cut to 25/1, from 40/1.

Jenson Button remains the 5/2 favourite, whilst McLaren are out to 6/1, from 7/1, for the constructor’s crown.

Ladbrokes spokesman, Nick Weinberg, said: “The F1 season is still very much in its infancy. But there’s no doubt that Hamilton and McLaren’s penalty puts the stuttering team at an early disadvantage.”

Button is 6/4 to win the Malaysian Grand Prix, whilst Hamilton is a 20/1 chance.
