Bookies Paddy Power have opened betting on how much some of Michael Jackson’s most prized possessions will go for when they go under the hammer next month.

The auction which will take place in LA, will see treasures from Michael Jackson’s Neverland ranch, ranging from his iconic white-jewelled glove to the gates of his Neverland ranch, all go for sale. It’s hoped over 2000 items in total will be sold in a live auction conducted by Julien’s auction house, with all profits going to the King of Pop himself.

Paddy Power are betting 7/4 that MJ’s white glove fetches more than $18,000, while some of the more expensive items on the list – his red jewel-encrusted jacket and the Neverland gates are tipped to sell for more than $55,000 with Paddy Power quoting odds of 9/4.

And with so many pop stars emulating the King of Pop these days, the cheeky bookie has also opened a book on who might turn up to buy Jacko’s famous glove. Justin Timberlake is the bookies 4/1 favourite, followed by music mogul Simon Cowell at 6/1 and Umbrella star Rihanna at 10/1.

Screen icon Elizabeth Taylor is 14/1 to purchase the glitzy glove while MJ’s old chimpanzee pal Bubbles is the 1000/1 outsider.

Sharon McHugh, spokesperson for Paddy Power said: “The very fact all 50 of his scheduled performances at London’s O2 arena sold out in just minutes proves that Michael Jackson is still hugely popular and much loved. We wouldn’t be surprised if his heirlooms sold for a hell of a lot more than estimated.”
