Sky Bet have released some Rory McIlroy specials after the teenager secured his maiden European Tour win despite a shaky finish in the Dubai Desert Classic. McIIroy is priced at 2/5 to win again on the European Tour this season and 7/4 not to. He is 6/4 to win just once more and 15/8 to finish the season with three or more European Tour wins. The Northern Ireland teenager is now as short as 2/1 to win a major before the age of 25 and 3/1 to end 2009 in the world’s top ten, as well as 1/4 to feature in Monty’s Ryder Cup side in 2010 (11/4 not to). McIIroy is going to be playing in the United States a lot in the coming months and he is 3/1 to record a win there this year.

Sky Bet’s Andy Thorp said “He is obviously a phenomenal talent and looks sure to be one of the best players we have ever had in Europe but he needs to prove he can handle the heat of battle before any sort of comparisons can be made to Tiger.”
